Community Feedback on Death Rattle’s New Campaign
The Death Rattle campaign in CoD: BO6 is unlike anything I’ve experienced in a CoD game before.

The story feels more personal, and the stakes feel higher. You follow a squad of operatives trying to prevent a new global conflict sparked by a powerful, shadowy organization. The Death Rattle mechanic is woven into the campaign as well — when key characters die, their deaths can trigger environmental and strategic shifts that impact future missions. It’s intense!
One mission that stood out to me was Operation Black Dawn, where the death of a critical informant triggers a massive blackout in the city, forcing your team to adapt on the fly. It was a nerve-wracking experience, and I loved how the game incorporated the Death Rattle feature into the narrative in a meaningful way.
I’m curious about everyone’s take on the campaign so far. It’s definitely pushing the boundaries of storytelling for a Call of Duty game. Do you think Death Rattle adds to the narrative, or is it more of a gimmick? I know some players feel the story is too ambitious for a typical CoD campaign, but I think it adds a level of unpredictability that keeps it fresh.
