Members of the NIH community can request a service such as receiving a Webex account or registering a mobile device, get help on technology problems such as connecting to email or personal desktop problem, and find numerous articles on IT topics.

CIT provides a full complement of support services on a fee-for-service basis to ICs to allow them to focus on research and not IT problems. Our services include desktop engineering, security, Tier 2 desktop support, printer management, and service-delivery management. We also offer acquisition support and software management and license management.
Announcements of upcoming consults are emailed to HPC users, and the schedule is available on the HPC Calendar. Telephone & Web You can reach the HPC @ NIH staff by calling (301) 496-4357 to get the NIH IT Service Desk. You can also submit a request for help using their online form. The staffers there will assist you with routine inquiries about accounts, passwords, and policies, and can register you for classes. Specific Helix/Biowulf-related calls will be transferred to the HPC staff.
Assigned departments are being phased into this support model every 6 weeks. For desktop support issues, staff will contact the CC Service Center by phone at 301-496-8400 or via email at CC-DCRI Service Center.
NEI conducts and supports research that helps prevent and treat eye diseases and other disorders of vision. This research leads to sight-saving treatments, reduces visual impairment and blindness, and improves the quality of life for people of all ages. NEI-supported research has advanced our knowledge of how the eye functions in health and disease.
The Information Desk is located on the main level of the NIH Library in the Reading Room and is the information hub for the Library. The Reference Assistants at the Information Desk are available to help in-person or by phone at 301-496-1080 during library hours. NIH ID cards are required to borrow books, request literature searches, and receive other library services for NIH-related work. Access to the onsite library computers requires NIH ID smartcards and associated pin numbers.

If you open the form, or the image of the form in the instructions, you will see a button at the top that allows you to extract the subaward budget attachment. Extract as many as you need and then attach each back to the main form. If you have trouble, please call the eRA Service Desk.

The other factor was an APL help desk staffed by Drs. Jillella, Kota, and a handful of other APL experts at large cancer centers across the country. These experts were available around the clock by phone or email to other oncologists who were treating a patient with APL.
The help desk was of particular importance when a patient going through induction therapy started having signs of a potentially dangerous complication. The treating oncologist could then reach out to a member of the expert team to work through the patient's problems and determine the best way to address them.
The nationwide trial was run through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). The trial's help desk team included seven APL experts from six large academic cancer centers. Oncologists at more than 290 community cancer centers that are part of NCORP were able to participate.
We are seeking technically minded individuals with strong communication skills to provide technical and customer service support to our client. The Researcher Workbench is a cloud-based platform where registered researchers can access Registered and Controlled Tier data. Its powerful tools support data analysis and collaboration. Integrated help and educational resources are provided through the Workbench User Support Hub.
The User Support Hub contains a variety of resources that demonstrate how to use our tools and navigate the data within the Researcher Workbench. Training materials, FAQs, video tutorials, guides, and a designated help desk are available to assist researchers in their Workbench activities.
If you registered even though the data was wrong, please fix the data in SAM and check to see if eSRS refreshed the information after two business days. If not, please contact the eSRS Helpdesk and make them aware of the situation.
A. The system offers assistance in several ways. First, there are user guides available on the eSRS homepage (see the list on the right-hand side of the screen). Second, before entering the reports, the system will prompt you with a notice explaining the information that you will need to have on hand to enter those reports. Third, there are help bubbles ( ) throughout the reports that explain the data fields. You can also review the training webinars available on the site.
A. If you are a large prime contractor: In the event that you are unable to find or report against a contract that should be available through eSRS, you must contact your cognizant contracting officer for help. In order for you to report against your contract, your government contracting authority will have to report your award to Federal Procurement Data System -Next Generation (FPDS-NG), and they must flag the record as having a subcontracting plan. FPDS-NG is the central repository containing a searchable collection of over 12 million federal contract actions. FPDS-NG is the authoritative source of the basic contractual information used to pre-populate many of the eSRS fields when entering your contract number. For more information on FPDS-NG please visit
A. If you are the prime contractor filing an ISR or SSR, or if you are a subcontractor filing an SSR, you should contact the Contracting Officer on the contract(s) you have with that agency and ask them for this information. If they do not understand the process, then ask to talk with their eSRS Agency Coordinator. If you cannot determine the name of that person, please send an email to the eSRS Helpdesk, and label it as a policy question asking for that agency coordinator's name.
A. Please send an email request to the eSRS Helpdesk and ask for them to change your registration from the existing Unique Entity Identifier (SAM) to the UEI Number you require. Please send the helpdesk your e-mail address (you registered in eSRS), the old UEI Number, and the UEI Number you would like to be moved to.
NIH now requires researchers to submit a Data Management and Sharing Plan (DMS Plan) with all new grant applications. This policy applies to all research, funded or conducted in whole or in part by NIH, that results in the generation of scientific data. There are a number of resources available to U-M researchers to help prepare for this policy change.
